尽管Aaron Espinoza和Ariana Murray作为Elliott Smith最好的朋友，使他们的Earlimart永远无法摆脱与Elliott Smith相比较的命运，这并不妨碍Earlimart持续创作出优美的indie pop歌曲，用他们柔软如呼吸般的声音、节奏感极强的acoustic鼓点、些许活跃的电子合成器以及圆润柔美的旋律。

距离上张专辑不到一年的时间，Earlimart已完成了他们的第六张录音室专辑"Hymn and Her"。新专辑由一首满载希望和乐观情绪的"Song For"开场，让人不由跟着鼓声和贝斯的脉冲轻叩着步点。接下来的两首歌则恰好相反，随着Ariana的声音缓缓而行，间歇处会有沁人心脾的二重唱，好似生怕听者安静到睡着。说实话，这些一连串缓慢单调的旋律形成的歌曲容易让人忘记，幸好"Cigarettes and Kerosene"重新打破了专辑的节奏，在这首歌里，可以听得出他们试图让旋律有更多有趣的安排，有些类似于专辑"Mentor Tormentor"中的歌曲。同样的尝试还体现在"Time For Yourself"里，电子合成器的运用使歌曲更亲近，而Ariana的声音也让我更愿意随之吟唱，而不是听着入睡。

去年认识的这支来自瑞典斯德哥尔摩的乐队Hari And Aino，这支五人Indie-pop乐队在去年三月还只在Cloudberry Records发行过三首单曲，愉悦的女声和轻巧的演奏是我对他们的最初印象。时隔一年Hari And Aino终于发行了他们的首张唱片，喜好Indie-pop和新乐队的TBS理当做出推荐，希望Indie迷们支持这支风格纯正的瑞典清新派乐队Hari And Aino。

Coldplay于6月16日晚在英国伦敦的Brixton Academy举行了现场演出，这是Coldplay新专辑"Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends"发行后三场免费演出的第一场，其后还要在Barcelona和New York举办两场。

此次演出的观众共4000名，除了歌迷，还有经过投票选出的名人，包括影星James Corden、另类摇滚女歌手Kelly Osbourne、著名设计师Stella McCartney等等，其中当然还包括主唱Chris Martin的妻子、好莱坞著名影星格温妮丝·帕特洛及他们的两个孩子。现场马丁百分百投入，演唱了新专辑中的多数歌曲以及经典歌曲"Yellow"、"In My Place"、"Trouble"，最后乐队在观众一再的欢呼喝彩中返场演唱了"Fix You"。

为了祝贺老牌先锋实验乐队Sonic youth成立28周年，乐队请来了多位大名鼎鼎的人物精挑细选他们的心头大爱，制作了这张限量版的精选集。这些名人中既有红透全球的乐队Radiohead、Pearl Jam、Beck，还有一些著名作家、导演以及演员，这些大牌明星集合在一起庆祝这支传奇乐队辉煌的历史。

有意思的是这张精选集是由星巴克咖啡馆发售，当然你也可以在hearmusic.com上购买。对此，乐队灵魂人物Thurston Moore这样说道：“人们都知道这么个名字，但是却不一定了解我们的音乐。有些人甚至对我们的音乐一无所知。我觉得在星巴克这样的店铺里面放上我们的CD是件有意思的事情，顾客可以在不经意之间就很容易地接触到我们的音乐。”

最近事情特别多，又要面临新工作上岗后随之而来的一些琐事，有很多次想写东西却因心事繁重而作罢。今晚终于有时间静下来回忆上周的这些电影，这要感谢刚刚看了的一部电影《刺杀肯尼迪》，是它让我鼓足了精神，振作起来。虽然导演剪辑版长达近4个小时，我还是不间断地连续看完了，并感觉有经过了一个时代那么久，这要归功于这部电影的力量，被“真理”狠狠感动一把的滋味真爽，奥列弗斯通在我心中的形象也立刻高大了起来。

这周看的七部电影我都很喜欢，其中看的最震撼的是《四月三周两天》、最开心的是《杀手没有假期》、最怀旧的是《小心倒带》、最苦涩的是《糖果》、最轻松的是《怒犯天条》、最晦涩的是《殡之森》、最激烈的是《推手》。之所以能够不厌其烦的一部接着一部看，一是最近兴致盎然；二是我看片有个习惯，一部商业片一部文艺片，避免审美疲劳或过度娱乐。

2008-06-10  《怒犯天条》  ★★★★
昆丁和凯文史密斯是我认为好莱坞最能侃的两位，电影中都有着大量的几乎不会间断的台词，台词中又有着不绝于耳的Fxxk，而且两位还都喜欢在自己的电影客串一把。其实选择看这个片子更多是因为有我喜欢的阿弗莱克和马特达蒙哥俩，看两位喜爱的演员扮演天使下凡手持枪械惩治罪恶的人类是件很爽的事情，而且还有幸观赏了萨尔玛海耶克戴着黑框眼镜大跳艳舞。

2008-06-11  《四月三周两天》  ★★★★★
记得这个片子是和《朱诺》、《一夜大肚》同期下的，前两部早早看过，只有这部雪藏长达半年之久，看过后立刻后悔鼠标竟然无数次与这部杰作擦身而过。这个在特殊时代背景下形成的沉重题材，在导演纪录感极强的长镜头中没有显出丝毫的距离感，看的时候各个官能都深陷其中，不敢有片刻的怠慢，仿佛身临其境的目睹了事件的全过程。

2008-06-11  《糖果》  ★★★★
很早就听说了这个片子，耽于一直没找到片源，后来希斯莱杰的去世让人唏嘘之余更期待看到他为数不多的一些身影。不巧的是，这部电影讲的就是吸毒的故事，一对情侣因吸毒了经历了heaven、earth、hell三个过程。可能跟他逝世有关吧，而且电影的主题也挺沉重，观看的过程只可以用苦涩来形容。故事的开放式结尾处理的非常好，惋惜、感动却又无奈。

2008-06-12  《王牌制片家》  ★★★☆
本来想让Jack Black给痛快地搞笑一把，没想到被Fatz Waller和一堆经典老片给怀旧了。一个好的创意，不但追忆了那些经典的老片、讽刺了满身铜臭的商业大片，还提出了“好的电影应当有自己的情感和灵魂”这样一个令观众鼓掌认同的观点。

2008-06-13  《推手》  ★★★★☆
虽说看的激烈，《推手》在李安的“家庭三部曲”可能是最温和的一部了。李安的电影给我最大的感觉就是简单、沉稳，但文化底蕴又很深厚、情感又表达的很丰富、矛盾冲突反映的又很明白易懂。最近开始看他的传记《十年一觉电影梦》，从他自己的笔触中认识这位我最心悦诚服的大师。

2008-06-14  《殡之森》  ★★★★
说实话这部电影看得我很郁闷，间断看了好几次才看完。大量的固定画面和手持摄影，极少的对白和人物封闭的内心，给观赏带来了不小的挑战，“生存和死亡”的主题也很沉重。

2008-06-15  《杀手没有假期》  ★★★★
关于一个杀手的艳遇和赎罪，很黑色幽默，很好看。柯林法瑞尔的演技终于给人眼前一亮的感觉，塑造的杀手形象非常丰满，无赖而自省、帅气而忧郁。其他的几个角色也都很出彩，尤其是雷夫范恩斯，竟然强大到只用声音出场便以主宰影片的境界，最后出镜时人物已十分立体。

如果Priscilla Ahn歌声中轻快活泼的调子让你感觉非常的亲切熟悉，也许是因为Priscilla Ahn第一张专辑"A Good Day"中的许多歌曲让你不经意想起了她在Blue Note厂牌下的同门师姐Norah Jones。这听上去像是有点儿奉承意味的比较，可是即使所用器乐在音色上完全的一致，比较也绝不能代表Priscilla Ahn的全部。

来自拉斯维加斯的Priscilla Ahn在她的第一张专辑中创作了混合indie和folk曲风的音乐，用她安静、温柔的声音使得平静成为风格的绝对主宰，平静的热情使从容的宁静变得更加缓和。总之，"A Good Day"是一张非常成功的处女作，Ms.Ahn的才华也已经开始受到了相当广泛的注意。
