The Occasional Keepers是由The Field Mice/Trembling Blue Stars的主唱兼吉他手Bobby Wratten和The Wake的主唱兼吉他手Caesar以及键盘手Carolyn Allen组成。

《True North》是这个强大阵容的第二张专辑，与05年的首张专辑《The Beauty Of the Empty Vessel》一样，依然以低调人声和原声吉他为主线，重视氛围的营造。只是第二张的实验成分要多些，烟雨蒙蒙的感觉更为明显。
